'Muck And Dirt Freelanders' Membership

There are two levels of membership with in MAD Freelanders, as detailed below. If you would like to join MAD Freelanders use the following buttons, either print the form and post it with payment to us or use the two buttons on the right and do it all online.

Associate Member

Membership Level : Associate

Joining Fee : £5.00 (Due Annually)

Benefits : Upon joining as an Associate Member you will receive the Code of Conduct, Club Reg's, Membership Card (with Unique number), Associate Membership Entitlement Guide.

Offroad Events : As an Associate Member costs to take part in all club related offroad events will be £15.00 for one day or £25.00 for the weekend.

Full Member

Membership Level : Full

Joining Fee : £15.00 (Due Annually)

Benefits : Code of Conduct, Club Reg's, Membership Card (with unique number), Full Membership Entitlement Guide, 'MAD Bumper Sticker'. Use of GLASS affiliation benefits.

Offroad Events : As a Full Member costs to take part in all club related offroad events will be £5.00 for the day or £10.00 for the weekend.

You may join as an Associate member. Associate member is a bit like 'Pay As You Go' with a mobile phone, you only pay to come offroad when you like (maybe once a year) but it costs you a little more. If you want to upgrade to a Full Member then this is at the discretion of the committee (this may sound snobbish but it enables us to keep the standards of careful driving we like to promote - sensible and responsible offroad drivers do not get refused Full Membership), once upgraded though it will entitle you to the offroad events at a reduced rate and other Full Member only benefits. The reason you are asked to pay to come on the events is to cover the costs of those that do the ground work of looking for the routes and checking they are driveable, please bear in mind it is a little more than just looking at a map and saying 'lets drive there.' All our events are planned a minimum of 6 months in advance, and all the routes are checked before hand, this involves a lot of time and cost to the person organising it.
